Terms of Service
Version 2026-07-19. These terms are between you and PlaySlop, which operates PlaySlop.Games from Ontario, Canada.
1. Who we are, and what this covers
PlaySlop.Games is a collection of daily browser puzzle games operated by PlaySlop from Ontario, Canada. These terms cover the whole site: the games, your account, the leaderboards, and anything you send us. By using PlaySlop you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site — that is the only consequence of disagreeing, and you can stop at any time.
We may update these terms as the site changes. When we do, we bump the version above and the date it took effect. Changes are not retroactive: they apply from the day they are published. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site rather than hoping you re-read this page.
2. Accounts
You do not need an account to play. Every puzzle, past and present, is open to anyone. An account adds saved scores, streaks, achievements, and a place on the leaderboard.
PlaySlop is passwordless. You sign in with a single-use link emailed to you, or with a Google or Apple account. We will never ask you for a password, and any message that does is not from us. Because your inbox is your key, keeping access to it — and to any linked social account — is how you keep control of your PlaySlop account. Sign-in links are single-use and expire after fifteen minutes.
You must be old enough to consent to an online service where you live. PlaySlop is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings; doing so removes your profile and results.
3. Acceptable use
Use PlaySlop for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Do not abuse or harass other players. Do not pick a username designed to offend or to impersonate someone else — we may change or reclaim one that does. Do not try to break, overload, or probe the site, scrape it in bulk, or automate play to manufacture scores or streaks. Do not attempt to reach data that is not yours.
Cheating mostly spoils your own game, and we are relaxed about how you choose to play. Manipulating the shared leaderboard is different, because it takes something from everyone else. We may remove results, reset a leaderboard position, or close an account that does it.
4. Content and intellectual property
The site — its name, design, code, and the puzzles we write — belongs to PlaySlop. You are welcome to play, screenshot, and share your results anywhere; the emoji-grid share text exists precisely to be posted. What you may not do is republish our puzzle sets wholesale or pass them off as your own.
The facts inside a puzzle are not ours and we claim nothing over them. Each puzzle cites the dataset it came from, and those sources keep their own rights and licences. If you send us a suggestion, a correction, or a message through the contact form, you are giving us permission to act on it — including building a puzzle from it — without owing you anything, though we are glad to credit you if you would like that.
If you hold rights in something you believe we have used incorrectly, write to us and we will look at it promptly. A specific, checkable complaint gets a faster answer than a form letter.
5. Attribution
ReelReveal and CineRank are built on movie data and poster artwork from TMDB — the titles you search, the films you rank, and the posters we show you.
This game uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB.
6. Accuracy, availability, and liability
We research every puzzle against a named, dated source and a person reviews it before it ships, but we do not warrant that every fact is correct. Datasets disagree, get revised, and occasionally are simply wrong. If you think a puzzle is wrong, tell us — we correct errors, and corrections are the mail we answer first.
PlaySlop is free, and provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that your results will never be lost to a bug or a failed deploy, or that any particular game will run forever. To the fullest extent the law allows, PlaySlop is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Privacy
What we collect, why, and who else sees it — including advertising and analytics cookies — is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and the courts of Ontario, Canada have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you have a complaint, please contact us first — we would much rather fix something than argue about it.
9. Contact
Questions about these terms? Use our contact page or email hello@playslop.games — a person reads every message, and we answer.
