A cold, sweet coconut-milk dessert served in a bowl over ice. Sweetened sticky rice, sago pearls, green pandan jelly noodles, and cubes of gelatine and coconut jelly are all steeped in sweetened coconut milk — with, unusually, a slice of white bread floating among them. Soft, chewy and slippery in turns, it is eaten to beat the heat of the hot season.
